Carrot- 1 kilo

Sugar – 3 to 4 tbsp

Milkmaid- 1/2 tin

Dry fruits of your choice ( almonds, pistachio,raisins etc….)

Cardamom powder pinch


1. Tastes best with red carrots( mainly available in winter).

2. Use full cream milk.

3. In place of milkmaid you can use whole milk.


1. Wash n peel carrots.

2. Grate it .

3. In a heavy pan heat one tbsp ghee and fry grated carrot for 5 minutes.

4. Add milk to it. Cook in low flame.

5. Stirr occasionally. Let milk evoparates completely.

6. Add sugar.

6. Add milkmaid. Stirr well.

7. Let all moisture evaporates. Switch off.

8. Sprinkle elachi powder. Garnish with chopped dry fruits.
