GREEN SMOOTHIE

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Very first meal of the day that is going to get you through the day by supplying to your body with nutrients that will support heigh energy levels.

Healthy breakfast has been proven to maintain lower levels of cholesterol throughout the rest of the day.

Green smoothie is made from green leafy vegetable combined with nutrient rich fruits n finished with liquid base. Many prefer to top their smoothies off with some superfood.

With the goodness of spinach, banana,dates,chia seeds combined with milk ,this green smoothie for breakfast can help you in making healthy choices in your life.

INGREDIENTS:

Banana – 2

Walnuts – 6 to 7

Almonds (optional) – 5 to 6

Milk – 200 ml

Dates – 2

Spinach leaves – 10 to 12 (tender & organic)

Honey – 1 tsp

Cinnamon powder – pinch

Chia seeds – 1 tsp

TIPS:

1. Soak spinach leaves in salt water for few minutes and wash thoroughly.

2. Consume fresh immediately after blending .

3. You can avoid honey for elderly people. When making for kids you can use honey as sweetener.

PROCEDURE:

1. Wash spinach leaves thoroughly. Deseed dates.

2. In a mixer jar take walnuts, spinach,dates,banana,honey and Grind wellin to a smooth paste.

3. Now slowly add milk to this and blend well.

4. Pour this in to a glass. Sprinkle cinnamon powder and garnish with chia seeds and serve.

5. This nutritious & healthy smoothie keeps you full and energetic.
